As most of you know, we moved back to Hawaii in 2011. We were a bit sad to leave Japan but we were excited to get back to Hawaii. It was a rough beginning and I can't say I absolutely love being back here but I am trying to make the best of living in this wonderful place! Piper and Nate are now three and Ben is six and in in first grade. When we first moved to Hawaii we lived in Navy house (Makalapa.) Our house was from the forties and was showing its' age. We lived on a busy street and very close to Grant's work and his boss. This last summer we made the move over to Hickam Air Force Base and have never looked back! I love it here. There are tons of kids around to play with and the base is awesome. Plus Ben is going to a great school! Grant has a job where he travels a TON so the kids and I are on our own quite a bit. But that's o.k. We spent a lot of time outside and a lot of time watching t.v. and playing the ipad - well I shop in the ipad!!

So today is Halloween. In usual tradition we have been leading up to this day for about a month. Costumes were bought long ago, decorations were put up super early and I cannot wait for tomorrow so I can put it all away and move on! It's only 12:30 pm and all of us have already experienced one sugar high and are filling our bodies with "real" food in preparation for the next round! I hope to start using my camera again regularly and will update on here as often as I can! Thanks for stopping in and we miss all of our family and friends a ton!!
